  Ok, so the views are great (although this building is showing its age and not making the best use of the spectacular scenery). However the views are great all around this region, so why would you eat here - well I suggest you don't! We had a seafood antipasto platter for $24. Not too bad, BUT - prawns were frozen packet prawns from Melbourne (confirmed by Chef) and were floury and watery. Due to recent algal bloom issues, oysters were (understandably) not Tasmanian - but this was not declared. And to cap it off - we were charged $12 EACH for a beer and a cider!

  They have an instant coffee machine giving Douwe Egberts instant. Noticed the espresso machine and ordered two cafe lattés. Not good, very weak, no flavour and overpriced. The Douwe was even better. A shame as the views are very special.

  It was shocking how bad this food was. $28 got me a small and so over cooked chicken burger it was like eating newspaper, undercooked fries, and a salad drenched in oil. The wait staff didn't even ask how we were going and my husband's steak was like shoe leather. It was $64 all up and I wouldn't ecrn serve food like that to my own family. There was 0 interest from staff in doing anything for anyone.

  Just pretty average food. Fantastic views of Richardsons Beach. Convenient if you're staying at the hotel and it's also the closest to the walks in Freycinet Park. Night menu on the wall looked nicer and a bit similar to the restaurant next door.
